All tour guests will check-in with their captains at the Honokohau small boat harbor.

Please bring your swimsuit, sunscreen (provided that it’s safe for the reef – such as local brands: Ao Organics, Coco Aloha Surf, Malama Kuleana, Little Hands Hawaii, Raw Love, and Hawaii Medicinal), and water. You’re also free to bring snacks of your choice, however our excursions do provide food, including gluten-free, vegan, and low-carb options. We do have secure spots on board for your personal belongings.

Depending on the tour experience, there will be several stops along the way – however, it will typically range from natural coastal destinations to landmarks. Therefore, we provide bathrooms and light refreshments onboard. Keep in mind that private charters are the perfect way to customize your experience and travel itinerary.

There are several cultural events and sport championships that we experience here on the big island. During the first week after Easter, the Merrie Monarch Festival is a cultural festival that takes place annually in Hilo, Hawaii – celebrating Hawiian people and culture since 1963. In addition, the annual Ironman World Championship is an international triathlon held throughout the world – with this year’s women competing in Kailua-Kona. Witness these amazing events aboard our cruises, as our excursions travel by these historical events.

Besides exploring ocean and marine life on boat excursions, there are volcano, helicopter, coffee, and botanical garden tours. The Kona District of Hawaii is full of memorable adventures and delicious food. Spots like Keone by the Sea and Harbor House are known for their fresh menus and beautiful harbor locations. Foster Kitchen, Hugo’s on the Rock, and Humpys also provide great eats and ales in town.
